Jesus loved the world and died for EVERYONE, not just Christians. We are all sinners and we’re all in the same boat. Christians need God and His grace, mercy and everlasting love. We all sin, we all fail sometimes, we all lose hope, we all breakdown, but we can trust in a God who loves us, and cares for us. He lives in our hearts and fills an emptiness that satisfies like no other.
Anyway, as people who are called to love, we need to love those who hate us, who try to bring us down, show them love, genuine love and be kind to everyone.
My 5 year old cousin, Nelly, sits next to a girl in school and that girl’s name is Skye. This girl says rude things to her, steals her pencils and is just not exactly the loveliest kid. But you know what? Nelly was telling us about this girl Skye before she went to bed and she began to pray, she said
Dear Lord, Help Skye to be a lovely sky. To shine bright.
A short, innocent and sincere prayer. I think we can all learn a lesson from Nelly, to love those who hate us, judge us, think of us as failures, try to bring us down. Spread God’s love and show them that LOVE conquers hate ANYDAY.

I’m sort of in a pause in my life. Like nothing productive is happening. I finished High School in December and I am on a break till September to go to the States for College and University. I’m not sure what university I’m going to, I’m not sure where I am living, what apartment, or church I’m going to. I don’t have a girlfriend or anyone that has been in God’s will. I don’t know what I really want to be when I grow up. I don’t know if I’m going to live in Australia, the US or Singapore for good. I don’t know if my life will be a life worth living.
Despite all these unknowns in my life, God is Good. God is GREAT in fact. Because I trust Him, I trust His ways are better than what I could ever dream. Whatever happens, He is good, He is and always has been. Whatever happens in my life, He is good. This is quite a scary thing to say, but if I die before the ‘normal’ dying age, God is still good.
Philippians 1:21 says,
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
He is everything, He is greater than whatever you face. Don’t ever let the enemy bring you down. Give all your problems, worries and things of the future to Him and He will take your burden and give you rest. He will give you freedom in His name! Rejoice in the Lord everyday. His mercies are new every morning. Look up to Christ intead of things of the world and He will lift you up. Humble yourself and He will guide your path. Thank Him for He has blessed you! Praise Him only because HE IS WORTHY!

I’m waiting on God for you. I’m waiting for His perfect timing, that moment where we finally meet. He loves you so greatly, and I hope I can share some of His love to you. You are beautiful, you are kind, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. No matter what they say, God and I think otherwise.
I don’t know when I will meet you, but I know you will be great, you will love me as I am and I will too. We will walk on an immensely Christ-Centred journey together and we will strengthen each other. We will pick each other up when we fall down, because Christ will be our Strength and so much more.
You do not realize how excited I am to meet you. And I’m praying for you and thanking God for you, whoever you are. I can’t wait to see you walk down that aisle, to just see you smile. I will try my best to love you in the ways I can.
I can’t wait to stay at home in sweatpants with you all day. To just play childish games, watch kids movies, dance around with music blasting, to walk on the beach as we watch the sun go down. But most of all, I can’t wait to pray with you, to worship God with you, to drive you to church and to have not only the best relationship with you, but with God and together we’ll do great things for Him.

It requires quite alot of thinking, prayer and studying in order to understand. But it really does help.
Especially in Romans 12, it speaks about followers of Christ as living sacrifices, and how we should live. It’s really great :)
